Knee injury, again

One of my favorite topics is back in the news. Apparently ACL cannot unnecessary repairs. Here's the WSJ health blog write up about the NEJM study. Two groups of active young people with torn ACLs were divided. Half got immediate ACL repair, half got rehabilitation and subsequent repair if necessary. The second group around 39% required surgery, but when the two groups (Surg vs Surg if rehabilitation not enough) were evaluated there was no difference.

Especially this is a big duh! A simple ACL tear needs correct if you're going, Ski travel, play football, volleyball and other sports that it needs.I had a left knee, the simple ACL tear in my early 1930s had fixed after 6 months to wait & rehab and went back to all these sports.(Although I never seriously in a winding sport before repair tested it).

Then I had a tear of the right knee ACL and a few weeks later several trauma a few years later to my left knee
