Mike Barber, GE Healthymagination

Last week thanks to the benevolent the RWJ pioneer Fund (thanks Steve, Paul & team!), I spent a few days at TEDMED Conference in the Hotel del Coronado near San Diego (famous for his role that tell a Florida hotel in the best movie of Marilyn Monroe, some like it hot to be).

While I was there I caught up with Mike Barber, VP of Healthymagination--GE's current big game in the health care area, combined his work in Imaging, Diagnostics, IT and much more.

This effort comes now clearly into focus, and Mike gave a nice talk about it at TEDMED.He discussed with the New join venture that has entries in the field of Pathology, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center called Omnyx.Ich spoke with Mike and a few points about the validity and the future of imaging (including a part of the future that out of his pocket bowing), raised consumer health of and the EMR world.Gene Cartwright, CEO of Omnyx, a fast representation makes auch.Dies is 10 minutes to find out what the world's largest industrial conglomerate to in the world of health care is worth seeing.
